With the realistic scale and color, the lily flowers and lily pads evoke the feeling of a boat sailing across a peaceful lake scene. The composition utilizes traditional Persian design elements where the design only provides the overhead perspective and the utilization of an exterior border. This piece is entirely hand-knotted and has a cotton warp and weft foundation.
