Providing a playful and peaceful garden scene, this transitional Paisley carpet measures 8’10”x9’11” and is hand-knotted in pure wool with the Orley Shabahang exclusive, Cheshmeh weave. The interior field consists of exaggerated paisleys and thin intertwining vine motifs. The paisley motifs represent large leaves and flowers, depicting a classic Persian flower garden theme. The carpet’s cream background contrasts perfectly with the bright indigo, red, orange, and taupe detailing. The exterior border includes similar large paisley motifs, repurposed to resemble exaggerated flower pedals.
