In Farsi, Donya translates to “the world” or “The World’s Universe.” And after seeing the carpet design, this name is very fitting. This carpet consists of a pure wool pile and a hand-knotted cotton foundation. Pulling inspiration from the Bazaar ceilings in Iran, the circular design resembles a dome.
