With a deep indigo background and an all-over geometric floral design, this hand-knotted Serapi carpet is woven in blue, pink, red, gold, brown, and green wool and measures 8’1” x 10’3”. Hand-woven in India circa 2020, this carpet has a Serapi-inspired design, illustrating a compact and flourishing flower garden. Weaving symbolism into each fiber of this carpet, weavers selected butterflies, flowers, and bird motifs to depict the circle of life.
