Inspired by traditional Australian Aboriginal dream paintings, this carpet, titled Bamal, measures 9’x12’3″ and belongs to Orley Shabahang’s Dream Collection. With its design created from small circular motifs detailed with cream, gray, gold, and orange wool, long gray linear detailing divides the carpet’s design into quarters. These long gray linear motifs also curl to create the carpet’s relaxed medallion. Weaving together tribal compositions and modern interior design, Bamal would make the perfect addition as a bedroom or living room carpet to any home!
