This 1920s Bibibaft Bakhtiari carpet with vibrant red, gold, and pink tones showcases an archetypal garden design with stunning detailing. Meticulously hand-knotted using a traditional Persian weave, bibibaft carpets possess their exceptional quality and unique status from their provenance, woven atthe hands of the matriarch of the village. That lends these carpets a renowned status and typically represent some of the finest-quality Bakhtiari carpets. To obtain the colors in this area rug, the weaver utilized organic vegetable dyes to achieve such bright and fade-resistant tones.
