Woven in warm shades of red, pink, blue, orange, and cream wool, this hand-knotted semi-antique Gholtogh carpet measures 2’6” x 3’10” and features a large captivating central medallion. Gholtogh carpets are a sub-group of the Sarouk and Bidjar carpet family and are woven to have a dense pile and bright, beautiful colors. The carpet’s pile consists of hand-spun wool knotted onto a cotton foundation, and this Gholtogh is in mint condition and ready for generations of everyday use.
