Titled Rice Paddy, this rich blue wool flatweave carpet is entirely hand-knotted and crafted utilizing traditional Persian weaving techniques for its construction. With its pile woven into the warp and weft foundation, Persian master-weavers utilized the Orley Shabahang exclusive Double weave. Inspired from Kilim and Jajim carpets, this weave is extremely durable and allows the artisans to knot the circular sea-shelled styled motifs that make this carpet so fantastic. This weave produces a durable pile and foundation, perfect for your homes’ most trafficked areas.
